Are you ready for our TWO PART James Bond Theme Special? You’d better be! Part One of The Cacophony Sessions Season 4 Episode 4 is here and features Dan Whitell with Alex, Dan B, Tom and Martyn as they chronologically rate each of the main themes from every James Bond movie. This part begins with the original 007 film Dr No from 1962 and takes us up to the end of the seventies, ending with 1979’s Moonraker.

Part Two of this episode will be coming shortly containing the remaining movies. The only way to cover it comprehensively was to record two full-length episodes so consider that a bonus!

If you think this means we are going to rush through without our usual brand of subjective butt-hurt ranting, we’re glad to disappoint as in this part we take some time to respond to YouTube comments, bang on about Run-DMC for a bit, contemplate becoming Den with ven and use the Factchecker 3000’s blindspots to spout questionable facts about football. As always, the language is very sweary and this time, Dan has a wonky green screen which will undoubtedly ruin his bid to be the next Bond.

Thanks for listening, and if you weren’t aware a large taster of every episode is uploaded in video format to our YouTube channel. We also post other videos, such as CAC News, where we give you a rundown of the latest goings on in music every couple of months, and Dan’s recent interview with Bristol hip-hop trio The Scribes! Become a Cacophant by joining our Patreon for just £5 a month to gain access to the video link to each episode in full. You can hurl abuse at us over on Twitter or Facebook and now, you can follow us on TikTok and Instagram where we’ll be posting various shorts from the episodes and other music-related pictures and videos. This is all detailed over at our hub of operations - the Cacophony Sessions Blog.

Oh, and we encourage you to all have a go at our cardigans or other opinions. Leave us a review if you like. Cardigan or content, either is helpful.

00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:05.549
I can't wait to talk about James Bond cuz he's so cool and sexy and he just reminds me of Martin.

00:00:05.554 --> 00:00:06.690
But 10 years older.

00:00:08.009 --> 00:00:08.609
What Martin's

00:00:08.789 --> 00:00:09.810
one is 10 years older?

00:00:10.105 --> 00:00:10.224
I.

00:00:11.082 --> 00:00:12.836
Daniel Craig looks like a fucking Ballsack

00:00:13.836 --> 00:00:15.457
I wish my ball sack looked that good.

00:00:17.896 --> 00:00:18.117
had

00:00:18.246 --> 00:00:18.907
Yeah.

00:00:19.027 --> 00:00:19.867
That's what he looks like.

00:00:20.257 --> 00:00:24.327
You'd have some good looking poles especially if they come out of the water in those Speedos.

00:00:25.062 --> 00:00:27.388
you can be as ripped as you want, but you can't get rid of that.

00:00:27.388 --> 00:00:29.757
Just Irish pasty a bit Freckly skin.

00:00:29.788 --> 00:00:32.963
That's the same I've got, you can't get rid of that in a gym can you?

00:00:32.963 --> 00:00:33.353
And he never

00:00:33.473 --> 00:00:36.264
Well, it's what South Park refers to as a a

00:00:36.293 --> 00:00:37.524
a superior bond.

00:00:38.408 --> 00:00:41.228
Oh, fair to start that shit.

00:00:41.375 --> 00:00:43.445
I've only seen two James Bond movies.

00:00:43.445 --> 00:00:45.274
I've seen Casino Royale and I've

00:00:45.520 --> 00:00:46.100
The best one

00:00:46.204 --> 00:00:47.585
The Man with the Golden Gun.

00:00:47.585 --> 00:00:47.795
Yeah.

00:00:47.825 --> 00:00:49.984
You haven't seen any Piercen ones

00:00:50.054 --> 00:00:54.213
I tried to watch World is not Enough and Is that the one with the Speedboat

00:00:54.423 --> 00:00:55.713
Oh, I love the stealth speed.

00:00:55.834 --> 00:00:56.073
That's my

00:00:56.253 --> 00:00:56.473
Oh

00:00:57.499 --> 00:00:58.719
is that The Eden Project one.

00:00:59.143 --> 00:00:59.344
woman

00:00:59.884 --> 00:01:00.694
I didn't get that far.

00:01:00.694 --> 00:01:02.314
I turned it off after about 20 minutes.

00:01:02.314 --> 00:01:03.154
It was rubbish.

00:01:17.804 --> 00:01:22.153
The name's Pump Golden Epu, also known as Dan Whittle.

00:01:22.183 --> 00:01:26.144
And this is season four, episode four of the Cacophony Sessions podcast.

00:01:26.233 --> 00:01:27.224
I've been expecting you.

00:01:27.614 --> 00:01:31.989
Today we are ranking the themes from all 25 James Bond movies.

00:01:32.049 --> 00:01:38.495
So grab a dry martini as we separate the rump shakers from the rump stairs for your ears only.

00:01:38.885 --> 00:01:44.721
Which songs leave us thinking nobody does it better and which ones leave us supplying for a license to kill.

00:01:44.721 --> 00:01:48.510
we'll be scoring them all outta 10 to find out we don't have all the time in the world.

00:01:48.600 --> 00:01:50.700
So let's meet the rest of tonight's cast.

00:01:50.789 --> 00:01:51.899
Joining me for this one.

00:01:51.948 --> 00:01:52.308
Tom.

00:01:52.808 --> 00:01:57.489
I'm just a normal functioning member of the human race, and there's no way anyone can prove otherwise.

00:01:57.825 --> 00:01:58.144
Actually's.

00:01:58.150 --> 00:02:01.144
Probably the best one you've done actually sums you up better as well,

00:02:03.079 --> 00:02:03.560
I know.

00:02:03.560 --> 00:02:04.849
I thought that was quite good.

00:02:04.849 --> 00:02:05.329
All right.

00:02:05.609 --> 00:02:07.495
I thought that and I was like, yep, that will do.

00:02:08.061 --> 00:02:08.691
Alex,

00:02:09.366 --> 00:02:09.575
right?

00:02:09.575 --> 00:02:10.175
I'm here.

00:02:10.235 --> 00:02:11.105
Where were your other two?

00:02:11.105 --> 00:02:11.225
ROEs

00:02:12.450 --> 00:02:13.471
you've used that one before.

00:02:14.015 --> 00:02:15.256
I thought actually.

00:02:15.256 --> 00:02:15.257
Yeah.

00:02:15.751 --> 00:02:16.110
Yeah.

00:02:16.110 --> 00:02:16.350
You've

00:02:16.485 --> 00:02:17.235
It's a classic.

00:02:17.385 --> 00:02:19.186
I'm, It's a cool back, it's a comedy thing.

00:02:19.186 --> 00:02:20.235
It's cool on purpose.

00:02:21.121 --> 00:02:21.721
Dan B

00:02:22.175 --> 00:02:23.405
Pub quiz didn't go well.

00:02:23.794 --> 00:02:26.314
The Quizmaster asked me Name a bond villain.

00:02:26.854 --> 00:02:28.414
He just wouldn't take no for an answer.

00:02:28.909 --> 00:02:29.689
Oh God.

00:02:30.245 --> 00:02:30.935
I enjoyed that.

00:02:30.985 --> 00:02:31.284
Thank you.

00:02:31.705 --> 00:02:33.745
Yeah, that's a bond related joke.

00:02:33.745 --> 00:02:34.405
That was so good.

00:02:35.995 --> 00:02:37.344
You gotta theme these things.

00:02:39.189 --> 00:02:41.289
and returning it is Martin.

00:02:42.169 --> 00:02:46.945
Hi, I'm Martin and my favorite band is to Beastie Boys cuz I'm licensed to Ill.

00:02:47.515 --> 00:02:48.415
See what I did there.

00:02:48.475 --> 00:02:51.686
Bond license to kill Ill, oh fuck

00:02:51.716 --> 00:02:54.496
I think, wasn't that the point in their joke in the first place?

00:02:54.711 --> 00:02:55.366
Maybe.

00:02:55.366 --> 00:02:55.515
I

00:02:55.656 --> 00:02:57.691
cringe and Dan's, but I wasn't sure it was on purpose.

00:02:58.725 --> 00:03:00.225
I put work into that one man.

00:03:01.915 --> 00:03:05.026
Maybe you should go back to the approach of not putting any effort in.

00:03:05.325 --> 00:03:07.306
We should send him away for another podcast or two.

00:03:07.306 --> 00:03:08.145
He isn't right yet.

00:03:10.945 --> 00:03:12.626
It sounds like we need a bit of a warmup.

00:03:12.626 --> 00:03:19.425
So as usual, we're gonna kick things off with a game that takes a song off the top of someone's head and asks, does it slap?

00:03:26.784 --> 00:03:27.354
who's up?

00:03:27.729 --> 00:03:28.509
Oh, I'll go then.

00:03:29.179 --> 00:03:38.038
Cuz no one else is I've been listening to a lot of gold frat lately because she's got a new solo album coming out and Ride White Horse by Gold Frap is a undeniable banger.

00:03:38.169 --> 00:03:38.459
yeah.

00:03:38.533 --> 00:03:38.824
Yeah.

00:03:39.489 --> 00:03:39.778
Yeah.

00:03:40.019 --> 00:03:40.709
Which one's that one?

00:03:40.709 --> 00:03:41.429
How's that one go?

00:03:42.269 --> 00:03:44.878
This their disco beat with a sexy woman singing on it.

00:03:44.878 --> 00:03:45.688
That's all you need to know.

00:03:45.752 --> 00:03:46.368
Is that the one that goes?

00:03:46.479 --> 00:03:46.769
Yeah.

00:03:47.028 --> 00:03:49.288
Now I, it was Silver Something Machine.

00:03:49.929 --> 00:03:50.308
Strict

00:03:50.368 --> 00:03:51.269
that's strip machine,

00:03:51.538 --> 00:03:52.618
the only song by golf wrap.

00:03:52.623 --> 00:03:53.068
I know.

00:03:53.118 --> 00:03:54.748
that could have been a, that could

00:03:54.808 --> 00:03:56.128
that's a, that's also a bang

00:03:56.179 --> 00:03:56.473
No.

00:03:56.473 --> 00:03:56.713
Fuck.

00:03:56.764 --> 00:03:58.123
I don't, I hate that song.

00:03:58.933 --> 00:04:04.091
Oh, if you don't like that, you're probably not gonna like ride a white horse.

00:04:04.230 --> 00:04:08.040
It doesn't sound like it's an undeniable banger by Alan Dan standards.

00:04:08.216 --> 00:04:08.705
Alright.

00:04:08.906 --> 00:04:09.895
I'll choose another one.

00:04:09.925 --> 00:04:11.876
Smoke code by the chats that's going

00:04:12.066 --> 00:04:12.286
Oh,

00:04:12.355 --> 00:04:12.776
Yeah.

00:04:12.786 --> 00:04:13.075
Yeah.

00:04:13.975 --> 00:04:14.395
that's easy.

00:04:14.756 --> 00:04:15.686
A hundred percent.

00:04:16.076 --> 00:04:16.495
paste.

00:04:16.555 --> 00:04:17.456
Both albums

00:04:17.740 --> 00:04:18.370
Yes.

00:04:18.430 --> 00:04:18.850
Yeah.

00:04:19.105 --> 00:04:21.745
I'm on Smoke Ho Libby alone.

00:04:23.170 --> 00:04:24.821
I fucking love that song so much.

00:04:24.826 --> 00:04:25.151
Yeah.

00:04:25.511 --> 00:04:26.321
I love that band.

00:04:26.326 --> 00:04:27.040
They're a great band.

00:04:27.295 --> 00:04:27.596
Yeah.

00:04:27.656 --> 00:04:28.466
Fantastic band.

00:04:28.966 --> 00:04:31.105
I'm enjoying ride a white horse, if that helps.

00:04:31.285 --> 00:04:34.735
Have just listened to it and I personally think it's a bit bad, but I don't like gold.

00:04:34.735 --> 00:04:37.403
Fra, I'm kind, doing what Tom did with I have Tiger.

00:04:37.403 --> 00:04:38.363
If you don't like it, don't.

00:04:39.444 --> 00:04:39.803
Yeah.

00:04:39.858 --> 00:04:41.379
So it's a no on that one then.

00:04:41.869 --> 00:04:44.499
But I think Smoke Ho by the chats did make it in

00:04:44.709 --> 00:04:45.699
that, that should

00:04:46.678 --> 00:04:48.668
and that should probably have been in there already.

00:04:52.632 --> 00:04:55.091
by the way I watched a Run DMC documentary last night.

00:04:55.091 --> 00:04:55.781
It's on YouTube.

00:04:56.108 --> 00:05:00.978
I feel like we should put Run DMC song on the Bang a can't remember the song.

00:05:00.978 --> 00:05:02.778
I like what it's called now song actually ruining.

00:05:02.906 --> 00:05:03.596
it's like that.

00:05:03.935 --> 00:05:04.675
No, not like that.

00:05:05.125 --> 00:05:05.665
That's not them.

00:05:06.161 --> 00:05:07.571
and that's the way it is.

00:05:07.896 --> 00:05:09.086
Imagine Know It is.

00:05:09.675 --> 00:05:11.110
I prefer hard times off.

00:05:11.115 --> 00:05:11.951
The first album is

00:05:12.146 --> 00:05:13.016
hard times is good.

00:05:13.065 --> 00:05:13.846
It's tricky.

00:05:15.016 --> 00:05:16.156
Oh, that's a good one.

00:05:17.625 --> 00:05:17.925
I think

00:05:18.045 --> 00:05:18.165
I,

00:05:18.375 --> 00:05:19.036
likes, it's

00:05:19.305 --> 00:05:19.935
like that song.

00:05:20.038 --> 00:05:20.879
tougher than leather.

00:05:20.939 --> 00:05:22.649
The track off of Tougher than Leather.

00:05:23.113 --> 00:05:24.894
I think Tricky is the one that most people would've heard

00:05:24.944 --> 00:05:26.684
What about Walk This Way with There Smith?

00:05:27.158 --> 00:05:27.454
There you go.

00:05:28.038 --> 00:05:28.189
I

00:05:28.204 --> 00:05:28.923
I love that song.

00:05:28.923 --> 00:05:30.334
But it's an Aerosmith song, isn't it?

00:05:30.725 --> 00:05:31.774
It is an Aerosmith song.

00:05:32.324 --> 00:05:35.024
They brought it back into the public consciousness.

00:05:35.038 --> 00:05:35.519
versions

00:05:35.519 --> 00:05:39.379
we should put that cuz that essentially I'm not sure what people are happy with it or not.

00:05:39.379 --> 00:05:43.908
Nowadays it seems everyone seems to be happy with it, but that kind of created new metal.

00:05:43.913 --> 00:05:44.269
So

00:05:44.728 --> 00:05:45.538
It's the first rap

00:05:45.613 --> 00:05:45.903
Yeah.

00:05:46.439 --> 00:05:46.738
yeah.

00:05:46.738 --> 00:05:47.249
How's Not Me?

00:05:47.249 --> 00:05:48.298
This Rat Metal song.

00:05:48.298 --> 00:05:48.629
Really?

00:05:49.119 --> 00:05:51.694
Yeah, I think, we'll, I think we, we will have walked this way.

00:05:52.233 --> 00:05:52.983
It's tricky as

00:05:53.074 --> 00:05:53.283
Yeah.

00:05:54.093 --> 00:05:54.454
Yeah.

00:05:54.459 --> 00:05:55.053
It is tricky.

00:05:55.053 --> 00:05:55.384
I'll go for that.

00:05:55.668 --> 00:05:56.298
but it's tricky.

00:05:56.298 --> 00:05:57.168
It's pretty weak.

00:05:57.228 --> 00:05:58.519
I mean it's like that.

00:05:58.519 --> 00:05:59.209
It's my favorite, but

00:05:59.463 --> 00:06:01.353
weirdly, I'd go, it's tricky.

00:06:01.353 --> 00:06:03.033
Or it's like that over a

00:06:03.067 --> 00:06:04.038
I think it's like that.

00:06:04.278 --> 00:06:04.577
Yeah.

00:06:04.956 --> 00:06:06.146
We've done the we've discussed

00:06:06.192 --> 00:06:08.021
Time is a flat circle or something.

00:06:08.319 --> 00:06:11.632
I did see Todd in the Shadows, did a video the other day actually,

00:06:11.642 --> 00:06:12.148
what I watched.

00:06:12.148 --> 00:06:13.362
Yeah that's exactly what I watched.

00:06:13.367 --> 00:06:13.512
yeah,

00:06:13.642 --> 00:06:18.358
his review of their train record, which is Crown Loyal, which came out in 2001.

00:06:18.723 --> 00:06:22.833
And that was the end of their career Darryl didn't do anything on the album,

00:06:22.987 --> 00:06:28.187
It was really sad to see the demise of D M C, he was powerful, but it was due to his ill health

00:06:28.514 --> 00:06:35.226
it was also the fact that he didn't wanna record crossover stuff like, Steven Jenkins from Third Eye Blind was the

00:06:35.451 --> 00:06:36.351
I know, right?

00:06:36.737 --> 00:06:37.216
Not great.

00:06:37.216 --> 00:06:37.697
I like

00:06:37.757 --> 00:06:39.857
Blind seems like one of those that Martin would like

00:06:39.913 --> 00:06:40.317
fuck off.

00:06:40.317 --> 00:06:41.528
No, I would not like them.

00:06:42.127 --> 00:06:42.577
Why would I

00:06:42.653 --> 00:06:49.223
no, but no, I'm not saying like we'd think you'd like those band that you'd weirdly love and we would have to then just tell you off in the next six months.

00:06:49.704 --> 00:06:52.151
Semi Child Life is an undeniable banger.

00:06:52.211 --> 00:06:52.992
I'm just putting out

00:06:53.254 --> 00:06:53.584
No.

00:06:53.584 --> 00:06:54.634
Third eye blind for me.

00:06:55.338 --> 00:06:59.050
anyway, Let's find out briefly what everyone's been up to since we last recorded.

00:06:59.050 --> 00:07:00.011
Martin, let's start with you.

00:07:00.232 --> 00:07:03.091
We're released our ep foreign Voices.

00:07:03.391 --> 00:07:03.601
Yeah.

00:07:03.607 --> 00:07:05.992
We're a indie rock band from the Southwest.

00:07:05.992 --> 00:07:06.651
Check us out.

00:07:06.651 --> 00:07:09.141
We're on Spotify, YouTube, music, and Apple Music.

00:07:09.232 --> 00:07:10.791
We're on all across the platforms.

00:07:10.882 --> 00:07:11.482
Check us out.

00:07:11.487 --> 00:07:11.752
Yeah.

00:07:12.810 --> 00:07:14.451
so much better than this, than I was.

00:07:15.235 --> 00:07:16.391
is this count as a paid ad.

00:07:16.774 --> 00:07:19.240
sounded so weird coming from someone on the podcast.

00:07:19.240 --> 00:07:19.899
That's not me.

00:07:19.899 --> 00:07:22.805
half expecting you to say like, and subscribe as well.

00:07:23.379 --> 00:07:24.370
I do that as well.

00:07:24.375 --> 00:07:24.464
yeah,

00:07:24.750 --> 00:07:24.959
So,

00:07:24.975 --> 00:07:25.855
about cardigans.

00:07:26.927 --> 00:07:28.067
that's what's been going on with me.

00:07:28.117 --> 00:07:32.857
I had a bit of a battle with myself thinking, am I being a narcissist by listening to it constantly?

00:07:32.862 --> 00:07:35.266
And I'm like no, I'm fucking proud of it.

00:07:35.266 --> 00:07:36.497
It's fucking amazing.

00:07:36.706 --> 00:07:40.966
And I don't just listen to my guitar parts, which are excellent, but I listen to the whole thing,

00:07:41.297 --> 00:07:47.326
I imagine you've got your EQ set up so that you take all the bait out all the drums and it's just your guitar.

00:07:47.677 --> 00:07:47.966
Yeah.

00:07:47.966 --> 00:07:55.189
But you are at the starting phase, even if it's like a rehearsal video just on your play, not video, but on your phone, and you go, oh, this sounds wicked.

00:07:55.939 --> 00:07:59.180
Everyone in the band over listens to it, to the point they think the song shit.

00:07:59.230 --> 00:08:02.404
You haven't got the point where you think stuff's shit yet, but you will get there.

00:08:03.154 --> 00:08:03.725
No, we won't.

00:08:04.154 --> 00:08:04.557
We won't.

00:08:04.583 --> 00:08:05.182
I'll tell you why.

00:08:05.187 --> 00:08:06.413
Because our stuff is not shit.

00:08:06.413 --> 00:08:07.312
It's fucking brilliant

00:08:07.523 --> 00:08:07.702
Yeah.

00:08:07.708 --> 00:08:12.142
I guarantee you at some point after your hundredth, you'll think goes

00:08:13.822 --> 00:08:14.572
Yeah,

00:08:14.853 --> 00:08:15.153
all you,

00:08:15.233 --> 00:08:15.622
mate.

00:08:15.843 --> 00:08:16.473
I'm already there.

00:08:16.478 --> 00:08:22.355
I listened to it I hear a little bit and I'm like, oh, I could have done that different, oh, I missed a note.

00:08:22.384 --> 00:08:33.845
On one of my last band's eps, one of my drumsticks hit the rim slightly on a fill and that's all I can hear is the fucking rim shot on that mid fill and it just ugh,

00:08:34.298 --> 00:08:35.557
How are you not still in prison?

00:08:36.477 --> 00:08:37.107
Drives me nuts.

00:08:37.883 --> 00:08:41.842
fortunately we're back in the studio again the first week in August.

00:08:42.168 --> 00:08:46.278
We'll have some new stuff to listen to then we won't get too bored with this one.

00:08:46.475 --> 00:08:48.981
We finally found our feet with the writing process.

00:08:49.522 --> 00:08:51.621
I won't go into it, but it just works for us.

00:08:52.011 --> 00:09:00.761
And it's very challenging as well especially for me because it's usually Tom and Ian, they do the groundwork and then I have to come in and fit stuff over it.

00:09:00.761 --> 00:09:06.341
And then I've even Ian standing over my shoulder going, oh, maybe you should try that different me.

00:09:06.677 --> 00:09:06.966
yeah,

00:09:07.182 --> 00:09:07.841
sound like that.

00:09:07.841 --> 00:09:08.890
He's from Blackpool

00:09:09.626 --> 00:09:09.956
Yeah, no.

00:09:10.116 --> 00:09:15.866
The weird thing is that Radiohead have always been one of my favorite bands of all time when I got into them.

00:09:15.871 --> 00:09:24.147
And I found myself not intentionally being like a mix between Ed O'Brien and Johnny Greenwood whenever I pick up the guitar now.

00:09:24.147 --> 00:09:32.384
And, which is really nice because I've just felt recently my playing has just transcended what I ever thought I could ever do.

00:09:32.484 --> 00:09:36.244
I'm looking forward to going back in the studio again and making some new music.

00:09:36.626 --> 00:09:36.984
Sounds

00:09:37.104 --> 00:09:37.433
Oh,

00:09:37.865 --> 00:09:46.802
Annoyingly, I've listened to more music this month than I ever have, and I feel the light of me cannot remember one album, album I bloody listened to because this happened to me.

00:09:47.221 --> 00:09:53.751
One thing I do remember listening to is the New Drain album, you remember it was one of my, it was my favorite album of my last trip of the year before.

00:09:54.182 --> 00:09:54.363
Yeah.

00:09:54.423 --> 00:09:56.043
And you and I are the only ones who liked it.

00:09:56.238 --> 00:09:56.868
oh God.

00:09:56.868 --> 00:09:57.048
Yeah.

00:09:57.052 --> 00:09:58.008
But they got a new album out.

00:09:58.187 --> 00:10:00.347
They've had it recorded since like January.

00:10:00.347 --> 00:10:03.418
But cuz they've signed to eta, they're doing it properly.

00:10:03.508 --> 00:10:06.298
So they're waiting to, for a good release window or something.

00:10:06.302 --> 00:10:07.437
But they finally released it.

00:10:07.437 --> 00:10:08.572
And I've been listening to Phil.

00:10:08.572 --> 00:10:14.434
I've only got, it was what I was doing before this, after the research we were doing, not research, listened to themes.

00:10:15.522 --> 00:10:16.476
is research.

00:10:16.731 --> 00:10:17.511
it is research.

00:10:17.517 --> 00:10:17.871
Yeah.

00:10:18.172 --> 00:10:22.822
But yeah, I'm only about six songs deep into it, but so far it sounded pretty wicked.

00:10:22.826 --> 00:10:25.402
And it'll probably be in my other year list cuz.

00:10:25.402 --> 00:10:25.642
Yeah.

00:10:28.347 --> 00:10:28.567
Bad.

00:10:29.234 --> 00:10:30.734
they're a Swedish punk band.

00:10:31.094 --> 00:10:34.333
I've listened to the newest album and it's wicked.

00:10:34.333 --> 00:10:42.356
I basically I went on a YouTube journey and it basically lined up all the bands and like for all of them gave you like a 32nd slice of each band.

00:10:42.866 --> 00:10:47.484
And it was one band that really stuck out to me cause it was pop punk with a bit of s squeakiness into it.

00:10:47.489 --> 00:10:48.333
It was really good.

00:10:48.583 --> 00:10:51.609
And I listened to the album recently sort thing.

00:10:51.614 --> 00:10:54.188
I should have looked up before, but yes, check out the band.

00:10:54.193 --> 00:10:54.879
They're very good.

00:10:55.359 --> 00:10:58.288
Did you have a chance to listen to the new Enter Sari album yet?

00:10:59.053 --> 00:11:08.683
no I haven't because Andy, what I like about in Shakara was that they were a bit emo in Sri with a lot of the electronics and they've gone into kind of weird

00:11:09.448 --> 00:11:10.739
They've got good, basically

00:11:10.974 --> 00:11:11.833
yeah, they've got full.

00:11:11.913 --> 00:11:12.178
Yeah.

00:11:12.178 --> 00:11:12.808
No, yeah.

00:11:12.808 --> 00:11:13.288
Fair enough.

00:11:13.288 --> 00:11:13.918
I'll give you that.

00:11:13.918 --> 00:11:17.729
They have got good and people, they've gone to the point where people like them now.

00:11:18.086 --> 00:11:20.341
I don't like their newer stuff, so I do listen.

00:11:20.341 --> 00:11:22.351
I've seen them live like four times.

00:11:22.517 --> 00:11:23.506
I thought you might say that

00:11:23.769 --> 00:11:26.139
cuz they just, they play lot so I've just seen them a lot.

00:11:26.399 --> 00:11:28.320
never liked them, but I really liked the new album.

00:11:28.320 --> 00:11:29.000
I thought it was quite good.

00:11:29.125 --> 00:11:38.078
I like a couple of tracks on it, but I, the couple of tracks I like are the ones that sound like they're older stuff, whereas they're probably the two tracks that Dan's like, nah,

00:11:39.759 --> 00:11:40.119
Yeah.

00:11:40.178 --> 00:11:44.139
I haven't got my notes on that to hand, but this, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it says.

00:11:44.229 --> 00:11:47.979
think it's like track two and three the two that I was like, yeah, I'm into this.

00:11:47.979 --> 00:11:48.219
And they're

00:11:48.308 --> 00:11:48.788
Yeah.

00:11:49.058 --> 00:11:53.698
I remember liking the first track and then going, oh, no, I think they're falling into the same traps.

00:11:53.698 --> 00:11:54.958
And then I was like, oh, nope.

00:11:55.019 --> 00:11:55.259
No.

00:11:55.259 --> 00:11:55.438
Okay.

00:11:55.443 --> 00:11:55.859
They've recovered.

00:11:56.009 --> 00:11:56.548
so sorry.

00:11:56.548 --> 00:12:01.649
The band was the good, the bad, and the Ugly Research destroy fucking awesome album.

00:12:01.698 --> 00:12:02.958
Really recommend giving it a go.

00:12:03.499 --> 00:12:07.948
You interrupt your line of thought there, but I also listened to to New Velo, is it Villa Velo of him?

00:12:08.115 --> 00:12:09.105
Marger loved him.

00:12:09.466 --> 00:12:10.005
yeah.

00:12:10.186 --> 00:12:10.905
Viva, I said, Yeah.

00:12:10.905 --> 00:12:15.285
I listened to his solo album actually I've been listening to it in the car on the way working that and that's quite good as well.

00:12:15.365 --> 00:12:18.995
